Therma Mobile, Inc. (TMO), a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower), was once again honored as the #1 Top Taxpayer of Real Property Tax in Navotas City for the eighth consecutive year, while also being #5 Top Taxpayer of Local Business Tax.

The award was presented by Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco and Vice Mayor Tito Sanchez to AboitizPower Transition Business Group Regional Chief Operating Officer for South Luzon and Metro Manila (SLMM) Lito Morta and AVP for SLMM Corporate Services Lou Deligencia during the 119th Navotas Day Celebration.

Mayor Tiangco said that taxes help fund the City’s social programs and services, including improvements in the Navotas City Hospital.

“Your continued support is a blessing not only to the city but also to each and every family that benefits from the program and services we’ve worked towards realizing,” said Mayor Tiangco. “Navotas is what it is today because of you, your business, your dedication, and your trust. Together we're elevating Navotas to greater heights. Let's keep building a future we can all be proud of.”

AboitizPower’s Lito Morta expressed gratitude for the recognition, cognizant of the company’s obligations as a corporate citizen and its role in economic growth and social development.

“We are honored to be recognized as Navotas City’s top taxpayer in Real Property Tax and a key contributor in Local Business Tax,” he said. “We fulfill our duties as a responsible corporate citizen to sustain our operations and, ultimately, benefit the communities in which we operate.”

TMO operates four floating oil-fired power barges at the Navotas Fishport Complex, serving as an ancillary service provider with 241 megawatts of installed capacity. The Company also exercises its corporate social responsibility to Navotas City through medical missions, livelihood programs, education programs, and support during times of calamity.
