Sabangan Hydro Plant Facade

Standing at the foot of Mt. Kalawitan in Sabangan, Mountain Province, Hedcor Sabangan’s powerhouse civil works is nearly 100% complete. The powerhouse shelters the mechanical components of the run-of river system including two Pelton turbine units and two generator units. Working near their homes, local residents are employed to operate and maintain the plant. The powerhouse is situated at Barangay Namatec and the intake weir of the plant is located at Barangay Napua in the municipality of Sabangan.
