Davao Light Engineers make the ASEAN Engineering Register

Three more electrical engineers from AboitizPower distribution utility Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) were included in the ASEAN Engineering Register (AER). The AER is an official list of engineers and related associates in the ASEAN, designed to promote recognition, safeguard the professional interest, foster high standards, and promote cultural and professional links of engineers in the region. The ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations Governing Board, through the Philippine Technological Council, officially named (L-R) Engrs. Richard Regidor, Virmel Dabon, and Jonel Padillo to the AER during a ceremony in Manila last December. The three honorees have proven their competence in their respective specializations: Electrical Network Protection for Regidor; Operation & Maintenance of Transmission & Distribution Systems for Dabon; and Utility Regulatory Compliance for Padillo. Davao Light, the third largest private electric distribution utility in the Philippines, now has a total of eight engineers in the AER.
