Hedcor Sibulan, Inc., Hedcor Tudaya, Inc., and the Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the Local Government of the Municipality of Sta Cruz in Davao del Sur turned over two Silid Pangarap.
In line with Hedcor’s continuous effort to support public education within its host communities, this P2.8 million worth of project can cater 71 students for the 2 classrooms donated in Tudaya Elementary School, and 77 students for the 2 classrooms in Almendras Elementary School.This project is a joint-partnership of the hydro firm company, the Department of Education, and the Municipality of Sta Cruz. In which, the municipality allotted a million pesos as their counterpart.Meanwhile, Luzon Hydro Corporation brings a better future to the students of Ampusongan National High School-Kayapa Annex in the turnover of a school building.United with the Local Government of Benguet Province and Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., Luzon Hydro entrusts a newly constructed 1-storey with two classrooms school building on February 11.The 2 million school building is a joint project by the Benguet Provincial Local Government Unit and Luzon Hydro. Of the 2 million, a counter part of P700, 000 came from the Province of Benguet and P1, 350,000 from Luzon Hydro.Barangay Chairman Samuel Taligan detailed that before the establishment of the secondary school in Kayapa, students used to hike for hours to Ampusongan National High School Main or go to Ilocos to study. With the additional classrooms, ANHS-Kayapa annex now caters to 186 students.CLASSROOMS FOR A BETTER FUTURE. Seventy-one IP students of Tudaya Elementary School and 77 students of Almendras Elementary School enjoy the newly donated classrooms from Hedcor, Aboitiz Foundation and the Municipality of Sta Cruz in Davao del Sur.WE CARE FOR BAKUN.
