APRI receives award for exemplary environmental performance

National Multipartite Monitoring Team Convention held last April 12-13 Hotel Jen Manila.
The award cites APRIs “satisfactory performance in monitoring environmental compliance as an active member of the Makban (Makiling-Banahaw) MMT.
”
APRI, one of only seven awardees chosen from across the Philippines,
was commended for supporting t
he Multipartite Monitoring Team (MMT), a community-based multi-sectoral team organized for the purpose of monitoring all identified sources of pollution within the company’s premises.
“APRI has a long-term commitment to the environment as we supply reliable and ample power. With our Environment Management Plan in place, we strongly support Environmental Compliance Certificate conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations,” said APRI President and COO Felino Bernardo.
APRI’s MMT also serves in the secretariat of the Makban (Makiling-Banahaw) MMT.
