Davao Light receives recognition from DepEd
January 11, 2023
In recognition of the company's partnership and support in providing quality education, Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. received a Plaque of Appreciation from the Department of Education during its 2022 Partners' Appreciation Program last December 13 in Mandaluyong City. DepEd Secretary and Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines Hon. Sara Duterte is the event’s Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker. DepEd Undersecretary for Legislative Affairs and Partnerships Atty. Gerard Chan presented the plaque to Davao Light President and COO Rodger Velasco and Reputation Enhancement Department Head Fermin Edillon. Davao Light, an AboitizPower subsidiary, is honored to be one of the many partners of DepEd and is committed to the advancement of education for the country’s learners, especially in its franchise areas.
