AboitizPower supports healthcare heroes from partner hospitals in Luzon, Visayas

In solidarity with the nation in the fight against COVID-19, AboitizPower extended support to partner hospitals in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Bacolod by providing the much-needed surgical masks to hospital staff and other frontline workers.

Earlier this month, AboitizPower turned over 3,000 surgical masks each to the Perpetual Help Medical Center-Biñan in Biñan City, Laguna, Perpetual Help Medical Center-Las Piñas in Las Piñas City, and to Perpetual Succour Hospital in Cebu City.

“The management of Perpetual Help Medical Center Biñan would like to extend their gratitude and profound appreciation to Aboitiz for donating 3,000 pieces of face masks to our dear frontliners and hospital employees,” the hospital said on its Facebook page.

AboitizPower has been the retail electricity provider of Perpetual Help and Perpetual Succour in the last three years.

The organization also gave 3,000 surgical masks to Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City, AboitizPower's retail electricity customer for over two years, and 2,000 surgical masks to its sister company Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue.

Furthermore, AboitizPower provided surgical masks for the hospital staff of Mary Mediatrix Medical Center in Lipa City, Batangas as well as to Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

“There are extraordinary times that test our resilience as a nation. We, at AboitizPower are grateful to be in a position to serve our partner hospitals and their employees who are constantly at risk of this pandemic,” said AboitizPower Head of Commercial Operations Juan Alejandro Aboitiz.
