TSI brings Christmas smiles to community kids

For 5 years now, AboitizPower subsidiary Therma South, Inc. (TSI) once again made the Christmas season a little merrier for 200 children of its host communities during the annual Christmas Outreach last 9 December 2017 inside the TSI plant complex.

Held annually, the Christmas Outreach gathers children of Barangay Binugao in Toril, Davao City and Barangay Inawayan in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur to celebrate the Yuletide season with TSI team members.

The children were treated to a day of fun games and prizes. TSI team members also had fun distributing their meals, as well as gift baskets to bring home to their respective families.

“It warms my heart that you do this outreach every year to make the kids happy. In behalf of the children and their families, thank you for continued support to your host communities,” said Brgy. Inawayan Punong Barangay Romulo Elula.

“We are happy that we are able to celebrate Christmas with you because we are part of the communities where we operate. Christmas is really for the children because they are the ones who are happiest during this Season,” said TSI Vice President and Plant Manager Valentin Saludes III.

Inaugurated in January 2015, TSI is the operator of the 300-megawatt Davao Baseload Power Plant located on the boundary of Barangay Binugao, Toril, Davao City and Barangay Inawayan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
