AboitizPower partners with SOCOTECO-I for electric supplies donation

Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower) collaborated with South Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. (SOCOTECO-I) to provide electrical materials to Barangay Benitez, Banga, South Cotabato in support of the national government’s Sitio Electrification Program. Building on last year’s “Light-A-Home” electrification project, the donation included LED bulbs, thermoplastic water-resistant wires, PVC pipes, breakers, and meter boxes. The donation will help support the government’s aim to achieve full electrification by 2028 by reaching unserved families — about 1.8 million Filipino households based on the 2020 census — particularly those in remote areas. Photo shows (L-R) SOCOTECO-I General Manager Raffee Edsel Epistola, Benitez Barangay Captain Anthony Peremne, AboitizPower Area Supervisor Daryll Gacus, and SOCOTECO-I Board President Hilarion Octaviano posing for the camera after signing a memorandum of agreement.
