AboitizPower co-creates a healthy community

Co-creating a healthy community.

Over 2,000 residents from five far-flung barangays in the municipalities of Manolo Fortich and Impasug-ong received free medical and dental service from AboitizPower subsidiary Hedcor. Hedcor in partnership with doctors from the local government units provided free medicines, health check-up, and tooth extraction services to the beneficiaries. Aside from these, Hedcor will train 300 mothers on health and proper sanitation to further help its host communities achieve a sustainably healthy environment. Barangays Maluko, Santiago, Dalirig, and Lingi-on of Manolo Fortich; and Barangay Guihean of Impasug-ong are host communities of Hedcor’s 68.8-megawatt Manolo Fortich hydropower project in Bukidnon which will be fully operational this year.

Hedcor is the run-of-river hydropower arm of AboitizPower operating 21 power facilities in the country with a total rated capacity of 245 megawatts. By advancing business and communities, Hedcor envisions for ‘A Better Future’ through Cleanergy—our brand for clean and renewable energy.
