Aboitiz Group donates hygiene materials in response to recent flood in Davao City

In response to the recent flooding incident in Davao City, the Aboitiz Group in Davao led by Davao Light and Power Inc. (Davao Light) and its social development arm, Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., donated hygiene items to the Local Government Unit of Davao City through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) in Davao City on March 18, 2022.
The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) reported that thousands of families living in low-lying areas along the banks of Davao River evacuated due to the heavy rains that caused the river to swell on March 8, 2022.
Asst. Department Head Perla Redolusa and Acting Admin Officer Julie Dayaday received the boxes of hygiene materials at the CSWD Office. The hygiene items will be distributed to the flood victims in Davao City.
