AboitizPower among best employers in PH
AboitizPower was named by the Philippine Daily Inquirer and Statista as one of the Philippines’ Best Employers 2025 at the What Works at Work event on November 11, 2024. Receiving the award is (L-R) Talent Attraction Manager Francis Cruz (3rd) and SAVP for Talent Attraction Corinne Patron (4th).

Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower) was recognized as among the best companies to work for in the Philippines, leading all others in the utilities sector.

The Company, which has a presence in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, was included in “The Philippines’ Best Employers 2025” list by daily newspaper the Philippine Daily Inquirer and market research firm Statista, marking the third consecutive year of its inclusion.

AboitizPower was one of only two companies from the utilities sector, with the other being the Philippines’ grid operator.

“Our greatest asset will always be our team members, and we are grateful that they feel that they work for one of the best employers here in the Philippines,” said AboitizPower Chief Human Resources Officer Monette Lasala. “We intend to sustain this enthusiasm by empowering their dreams and aspirations through our shared purpose of transforming energy for a better world.”

“This entails consistency in being a good corporate citizen, in delivering positive value to the businesses and communities we serve and work with, and in supporting the country through the power that we provide,” she explained.

The ranking was based on an independent employee survey involving approximately 16,000 employees from over 2,000 eligible employers who have at least 250 employees. The scoring model heavily considered the likelihood of employees recommending their own employer to friends and family, as well as whether they voluntarily recommend or advise against other active employers in the industry they work in.

The survey was conducted anonymously via online access panels and among Philippines Daily Inquirer readers. It was supported by comprehensive desk research of numerous sources, including trade journals, economic research, and company databases.
