AboitizPower partners with NOCECO for community projects

12 public schools in southern Negros Occidental are now gearing up for the rehabilitation of their electrical wires, which will help secure the safety of the students and personnel, and avoid the hazards and incidents of fire.

This is the first Rewiring Project of AboitizPower and Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative (NOCECO), which will kick-off a month after the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed last July 21.

Team members from AP Energy Sales have been very active in community development projects in partnership with its various customers.

Moreover, Raymundo T. Tongson National High School also received 10 computer units, which aimed to serve as an effective learning tool for both the students and the teachers.

School principal is Renita Mayang shared, “The project is really a big help to the school, especially with the full implementation of the K-12 program. It will further push the students and teachers towards excellence.

Another batch of computer units is scheduled to be donated to Escalante City in Negros Occidental within the year.
