AP subsidiary reaches 3M safe man-hours
August 06, 2018
Kudos to the team behind the Manolo Fortich Hydro 2 project of AboitizPower subsidiary Hedcor, for achieving over 3 million safe man-hours without lost time incidents as of today. In partnership with Sta. Clara International Corporation, the 25.4-MW power plant construction meets the safety standards set by the Department of Labor and Employment. Series of precautionary and preventive drills, inspections of personal protective equipment, and meetings to discuss safety matters are regularly conducted by Hedcor and Sta. Clara to ensure safety in the workplace. More than 200 locals are employed for the construction of the project which is targeted for completion this year.
