Helps Power A Better Future
Therma Power-Visayas, Inc. (TPVI) is a diesel power plant located in the Naga Power Plant Complex of Barangay Colon, Naga City, Cebu. The facility spans 14.41 out of 20 hectares of the diesel-coal complex, which has a combined capacity of 153.1 MW.
AboitizPower, through TPVI, took over the Naga Power Plant Complex from its previous operator the Salcon Power Corporation on July 16, 2018.
Since 2019, TPVI has been handling the rehabilitation and maintenance works within the site to restore its full capacity. Currently, six diesel engine units are now operational, having a rated capacity of 7.43 MW each.
TPVI’s efforts to restore and improve plant operations have supplied the Visayas grid with stable access to ancillary services.
