Helps Power A Better Future
Therma Marine, Inc. (TMI) operates two 100 MW oil-fired power barges in Maco, Davao de Oro (Mobile 1) and Nasipit, Agusan del Norte (Mobile 2).
Both Mobile 1 and 2 were constructed in 1994 and have been under the ownership of TMI since February 2010 and March 2010, respectively.
TMI is currently building its first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Mobile 1 to increase plant capacity. This technology, which is the first of its kind in the country, will help ensure grid stability in Mindanao through sufficient ancillary services.
