About the Company
Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. (ARI) is the holding company for Aboitiz Power Corporation’s (AboitizPower) renewable energy portfolio. We are at the forefront of driving the Philippines' clean energy transition, tasked with developing and managing various renewable energy projects. Our mission is to significantly expand AboitizPower’s renewable energy capacity, contributing to a more sustainable and secure energy future for the nation.
Our Focus: Expanding Renewable Energy Capacity
ARI is dedicated to achieving AboitizPower’s ambitious target of growing its renewable energy portfolio to 4,600 MW by 2030. This commitment translates into active development and management of projects across various renewable energy technologies:
- Solar Power: We harness the sun's energy through strategically located solar farms, contributing to a cleaner and more diversified energy mix.
- Wind Power: We are exploring and developing wind energy projects in areas with high wind potential, further diversifying our renewable energy portfolio.
- Hydroelectric Power: We leverage the Philippines' abundant water resources through run-of-river hydro and other hydropower technologies, providing reliable and clean baseload power.
- Geothermal Energy: We are actively assessing opportunities in geothermal energy, tapping into the Earth's natural heat to generate clean and sustainable power.
Our Role within AboitizPower
As AboitizPower’s subsidiary for its renewable energy assets, ARI plays a crucial role in:
- Project Development and Execution: Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from site selection and feasibility studies and site selection to construction and commissioning.
- Asset Management: Optimizing the performance and efficiency of existing renewable energy assets.
- Strategic Growth: Identifying and pursuing new opportunities for renewable energy development, contributing to AboitizPower's overall growth strategy.
