Davao Light kaibigans eagerly participates in post-election clean-up drive

The heat of one of the most controversial political races in the Philippines has left the country askewed and wrought with ill-designed posters of politician wannabes. Their faces were plastered on every vicinity any human can lay their eyes on.

But not in Davao City.

It was 7 in the morning; it was a Saturday; and there was no work. But our Kaibigans from Davao Light and Power Co. went out of their way and volunteered in the city-wide clean-up drive that was held last May 14, 2016.

The Davao Light Engineering team removed heavily glued posters on walls, posts and other public areas from Davao Light Bajada office up to Victoria Plaza, which is 1.

4kms away from the starting point.

Meanwhile, Davao Light Admin team started from Madrazo Fruit Complex to Kapitan Tomas Elementary School.

The clean-up drive is a city-wide initiative, which includes every small and big private companies in Davao City, to remove posters and other campaign materials near their office.
