AP Renewables Inc. (APRI) is one of the Philippines’ leading geothermal energy producers, delivering clean and renewable baseload power with our two facilities in Tiwi, Albay and the areas of Bay and Calauan, Laguna and Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Both facilities were previously acquired from the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp (PSALM) in 2009.
After over a decade of operations, we are still continuing to improve the daily operations of our geothermal plants to negate the adverse impacts of power generation on the planet.

MakBan Geothermal Power Plant has 12 generating units, including a binary plant, which are housed in separate power stations. It is the only indigenous baseload plant in Luzon that has better grid stability and availability.
