A New Level Of Partnership

Already partners in delivering power to consumers, AboitizPower and a select group of electric cooperatives in Mindanao are raising our cooperation to a whole new level -- by delivering accurate and reliable information to member consumers.

Representatives from different electric cooperatives in West Mindanao learned the fundamentals of effective print and radio communications during two separate full-day workshops organized by AboitizPower on October 9 and 10, 2017 held in Dipolog City and Pagadian City, respectively.

A total of 44 participants, including employees of Zamboanga del Norte Electric Cooperative (ZANECO), Misamis Occidental I Electric Cooperative (MOELCI 1), Zamboanga del Sur I Electric Cooperative (ZAMSURECO 1), Zamboanga del Sur II Electric Cooperative (ZAMSURECO 2), and Zamboanga Electric Cooperative (ZAMCELCO) attended the workshops.

“Without a doubt, the workshop will play a pivotal role on how we will provide and relay information to all our constituents” MOELCI 1 General Manager Ruben Bonalos said in a letter to AboitizPower after the event.  GM Bonalos attended the entire Dipolog leg of the workshop.

This partnership will greatly help the electric cooperatives in educating their members on their electric power supply and their role as consumers. The program will also enlighten the member consumers on the critical role of AboitizPower in providing reliable and cost-effective power to businesses and households in their communities.
