THERMA Visayas, Inc. (TVI) continues to deliver its promise to improve living conditions in its host communities in Toledo City, Cebu.With the help of Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (AFI), TVI recently turned over a health center in Barangay Awihao, an upland village located about seven kilometers from the Toledo City center.The health center will provide emergency health services to Awihao’s 2,000 residents.“Health is one of our priorities and the health center is a big help, especially among the indigent residents. We are privileged to have TVI in the community,” said Awihao Barangay Chairperson Leonita Birao.TVI, a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corporation and Vivant Corporation, is building a 340-megawatt coal-fired power plant in Toledo City.In 2014, TVI turned over a health center in Barangay Bato. This year, TVI intends to build a health center in Cabitoonan.
