Cotabato Light’s first ever dedicated line goes live

June 08, 2016

With the onset of power supply shortages and interruptions, the desire for a dedicated line intended for hospitals has made a resounding call.

Thus, Cotabato Light has started its first ever special line on a double-circuit construction. All safety concerns and risks have been properly identified and considered, especially since this is a major undertaking which involves live line works along Cotabato City’s busy highway. It was also timely for our Transmission & Distribution team Jeffrey Escalona, Adriano Ragandan Jr.

, Albert Pacaña, Engr. Michael Hepiga, William Jaum, Adellene Merciadez, and Jeovani Tuquib to put into practical application their training into this one-of-a kind exposure. And after six months of gruelling tasks, we have energized it on schedule, that is, before the year ended.

Up to now, two of Cotabato City’s hospitals namely Cotabato Regional and Medical Centre, and Notre Dame Hospital are benefitting from this configuration, as they are being supplied by our standby power plant during major power outages only.

Cotabato Light has engage its manpower and resources in fulfilling its desire for greater customer satisfaction and humanitarian consideration.
