APRI strengthens partnership with Tiwi LGU officers

TABACO CITY, ALBAY - AP Renewables, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AboitizPower, gathered the newly elected officers of the Municipality of Tiwi and the incumbent officials from the 16 host barangays in this year’s second Quarterly Stakeholders’ Meeting at The Concourse Convention Center last July 18. APRI President and COO Felino Bernardo graced the event and extended his warm greetings to the LGU officers. “We are committed to sustaining our relationship with you as our important stakeholders. We continue to deliver clean and renewable baseload power from our facilities in Tiwi, Albay, Bay and Calauan, Laguna, and Sto. Tomas, Batangas,” Bernardo said.Some of the topics discussed were updates on plant operations, target and actual power generation, hiring opportunities, Safety, Health, and Environmental programs, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and ER 1-94 projects.“We look forward to a continued partnership with APRI and the development of more projects in Tiwi” said Barangay Biyong Captain Henry Borbor.APRI also invited DepEd Asst. Schools Division Superintendent Fatima Buen to speak about the education status and milestones in the province of Albay. In line with the DepEd’s mission and programs, APRI also focuses its CSR projects in education, allotting more than half of its annual budget in helping with the improvement of the public education system in its host communities.To date, APRI has a total of 247 scholars from Special Science Elementary (Grades 1, 2 and 3), High School, Tech-Voc and College.APRI continues to provide shared-value to its stakeholders by engaging them in dialogue, which helps in the development of more sustainable programs in its host communities. ###
